I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for a great day yesterday, the course was in superb condition and the greens were excellent considering the battering we have taken this winter.
Everyone was made to feel very welcome by all the staff we managed to interact with through the day so thanks also to them. I’m sure a number of us will be back again through the season.

Although the weather wasn't exactly on our side,everybody both survived and really enjoyed their day. They all remarked on what a lovely course you have ay Weybrook Park and are already looking to return next year in October. Of the 15 teams playing,12 played the 18 holes with the remaining 3 retiring somewhere on the back nine!! The only moan was from a few players saying that it was very difficult for them to judge their putting speed when the greens were covered in hail !!! With regard to your club survey,we would like to award you with a figure of 9.9 for each of the items listed but a little less for the weather!

After playing Weybrook Park last week I was extremely impressed with how good the tees, fairways and greens were after all the rain we have had. In fact, the greens were in better condition than my home club’s greens throughout last year. Will certainly visit again.

The course is in fantastic condition and extremely playable considering the amount of rain we have had. Members are very lucky to have such a free draining golf course allowing us all to play golf when others are closed.

Great day out at WPGC yesterday. Everyone was really impressed with the work you’ve done and the work being undertaken and very pleased to hear the East Course is improving. Those who’d not played Weybrook before are very keen to return, as were those who’d missed our visits to WPGC. Feedback below. Mark - TEGS - October 2025
Can I say that, without exception, all attendees really enjoyed themselves and commented on the very tasty food served. They were also impressed with the serving staff, who were very obliging and efficient. So, many thanks to your chef and staff in the kitchen and the front of house staff for a job very well done. We will be having our usual committee event review, which we normally combine with a Christmas Lunch at Weybrook Park, so we will be in touch shortly to organise a date. Thanks again for your attention to our lunch arrangements.
Automobile Association Reunion - October 2025
Just a word of thanks and appreciation for all the team at Weybrook Park who helped make our golf day special. We had luck with the weather as all our groups managed to finish just before the electrical storm put a stop to play. Everyone said they enjoyed the course and our tasty meal. Almost £800 was raised for our charity Sarcoma UK which includes proceeds from the auction of your donated four ball.. All in all a great success. Could you please pencil us in again for next year for the equivalent date which I make Friday 11 September when I would hope we should have a few more of our regulars back.

I am really not surprised that you get so booked up as your whole team really look after us both before, during and after our event and the course is in excellent condition, especially so given the weather we have had this year.

Course layout & presentation 1-10 . 9.5 I think but only because of the 4th, which had the temporary green. Whilst the hole was larger, it would have been a bit more helpful if the grass around the hole in the "temporary green" area had been mown. That is very picky but comment had been made.
Pro Shop & Golf Team service 1-10. 10 we cannot fault anything. Everyone was helpful.

The food was great, both the butties beforehand and the "bangers and mash", service was brilliant and very accommodating for all, especially Gary and Martin, who were trying to get the scorecards sorted after the software that we had hoped to use failed and they were eating in the main bar area. Thank you.
Once again, many thanks for everything you and your team did for us Lee and we look forward to playing Weybrook again a few more times in the next 12 months. Very best wishes

Both the society and myself personally would like to thank you and the whole team for the truly superb service we received throughout the day. I know we only had coffee and bacon rolls, but the catering team were very attentive and the rolling service of bacon rolls upon individual arrival was excellent - and they were delicious! Even the special dietary request was handled very efficiently and friendly. Then, of course, all the arrangements, both prior and on the day by your good self were excellent (as always). My committee colleagues all commented on it, so thanks very much indeed. Now to the actual event ...the weather wasn’t the kindest, nor was my golf the best! That said, everyone - without exception - said what a great course Weybrooke is. Some of them played the last time the society visited and said that the course was even better! So, thanks very much indeed.

Just a quick note as I'm on the road to say thank you for a great day at your club. I can without a hesitation score 10 on each area of review. Personally and on behalf of all those who attended the course was enjoyed immensely even though we did get soaked. It was a delight to play especially as every hole was different personally, it was the lushest course I have played this year. It was also noted, that ground under repair was actually ground under repair and not ground under repair never to be repaired which seems to be the case at my club. A return is definitely on the cards for next year for the society and no doubt the many golfing wives and partners would also like to attend

Some found the course quite challenging but everyone enjoyed it and thought the course was in great condition, especially given the lack of rain. The winning score was 41pts so pretty good. Most scores were in the mid-30s.

West Course - (9, but pushing 10). Massive improvement from the standard of the East Course. Everyone was extremely complimentary and enjoyed the course.

Food and Beverage Quality - 10. All the food was delivered on time and the standard was excellent.

Everyone seems to have really enjoyed yesterday and with regard to your poll, would give 10/10 across everything!
It was the first time for all except one of our players, and the feedback was extremely positive, so I’m sure we’ll be back next year! The only suggestion we would make is that there was some confusion about where to find the 13th tee after coming off the 12th green (as there is a track to the right but this leads to the 17th tee) hope that makes sense. Thank you again for all your help with our booking and we look forward to returning next year, we will be in touch once we have some dates.

We had a thoroughly great time playing at Weybrook last week, and despite there being a deluge as I entered the 17th tee box, it didn’t dampen my spirits as I felt the condition of the course was phenomenal, leading to a great day for all!
In answer to your questionnaire questions, here are my responses: 1 = very poor 10 = outstanding
Course layout & presentation _____ 9. The course was in extremely good condition. The greens, fairways, tee boxes were in great condition, and rough areas proved to be challenging but also didn’t result in too many issues. I only gave a 9 as a few members commented on some of the bunkers being full of stones. We collectively agreed to take free relief from some due to the numbers, but this didn’t detract from a great course that was clearly very well maintained.
Pro Shop & Golf Team service _____ 10. Everything about the booking of the event, the organisation of the event, communications and visits to the Pro Shop were very simple and smooth. The provision of the nearest the pin and longest drive posts were of great use (even if the last group did accidentally leave the longest drive marker back on the 9th fairways….good job they didn’t use my drive for it otherwise they’d have never found it!!) I have literally nothing negative to say!
Food & beverage - quality of food and drink _____ 10. Food was exceptional and brought our in a timely manner, we had our own space set up which led to a very enjoyable day. Beverages were also great as there was plentiful supply.
Food & beverage - services and prices _____ 10. Bar and Club staff were helpful and friendly, bar prices were very good considering the location and there was a multitude of choice. We were all made to feel very welcome.
I will be actively encouraging our members to come together and organise next years events over the coming months, but having held an event at Weybrook Park now in each of our first two years as a society, we all have thoroughly enjoyed the course, so we will undoubtedly be back to Weybrook for next year, once we can nail down our financing (should be in July/August time of this year when we look to plan and book our events). Thank you again Lee for all of your help in arranging our day, we had a great time and we will 100% be back next year for another round! I will be in touch very soon!

We had a super day on Monday. You and your team were exceptional. The work on the course did not detract from our enjoyment and was necessary for the club, as explained in your email. Your communications were clear, timely and helpful. Thank you. I imagine that you want my honest feedback. The breakfast rolls were quite dry. Toasting them might have improved that. The amount of meat in the steak pie was variable, but it was very tasty and the whole meal was nicely presented. The tables were nicely set up and it was great not to have to ask for water on the tables. We presented the catering staff with a gratuity and it was well deserved. They were helpful and efficient.
LEGS - March 2025
I just wanted to contact you following our round on Tuesday this week. My wife and I were staying at Blackwood Forest (Forest Holidays) with our good friends Mike & Sarah and Mike & I booked to play on Tuesday. Both Mike & I were extremely impressed with the welcome we received from everyone we met. We were fortunate enough to have enough time to enjoy a breakfast in the club house - which was delicious. Our home course had been closed over this period but honestly we couldn’t believe how firm all areas of the course were. We live in West Sussex and have now added Westbrook to our courses to visit and will encourage others to do likewise. Thank you for a very enjoyable day.
